探花精选 invites faculty to submit for the 2027 Architectural Education Awards. Every year, 探花精选 honors architectural educators for exemplary work in areas such as building design, community collaborations, scholarship, and service. The award-winning professors inspire and challenge students, contribute to the profession鈥檚 knowledge base, and extend their work beyond the borders of academia into practice and the public sector.

The 115th 探花精选 Annual Meeting: INSIDEANDOUTSIDE invites contributions that explore how current urgencies 鈥� climate, equity, technology, and civic responsibility 鈥� shape pedagogical priorities, and how architecture as a practice and architecture as a discipline may be perceived from both inside and outside our field. Educators, practitioners, researchers, and students are all encouraged to submit full papers, design projects & short papers.

For architecture programs preparing students for contemporary practice, Autodesk connects classroom learning to the realities of modern project delivery and interdisciplinary collaboration. Tools like聽Revit聽and聽Forma Site Design聽help students build skills in BIM, sustainable design, visualization, collaboration, and digital project delivery鈥攕upporting creativity, critical thinking, and professional readiness for the evolving demands of architectural practice.

The upcoming issue of TECHNOLOGY | ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN (TAD) welcomes submissions that address the design, theory, history, and implementation of adaptable systems in architecture, engineering, and the built environment. This issue will focus on architectural systems that sense, respond, and evolve, exploring how emerging technologies, environmental imperatives, and shifting social conditions are transforming architecture from a static artifact into a dynamic, learning system across scales, from materials and envelopes to buildings, infrastructure, and urban systems. The journal welcomes research or scholarship on the topic of this call for papers or open topics on a rolling submission basis.

In reaffirming JAE鈥檚 founding mission, established in 1947 as a venue for the dissemination of research on architectural education, this聽OPEN聽call welcomes submissions that engage architecture pedagogy in its broadest sense, addressing any area of the architectural curriculum and its related disciplinary fields. We invite contributions that examine pivotal historical moments in architectural education, critically interrogate contemporary pedagogical models and institutional transformations, or speculate on emerging educational practices and forms of learning that may reshape the future of the discipline.
